Creating Sacred Space

This section of our program will strengthen the spiritual components of your craft as a teacher and life long student of yoga. Knowing oneself and what one stands for and intends to create and share with their students is essential for any teacher. Through the deeper understanding of yoga philosophy from different lineages, as well as the unveiling of your own philosophy, you will bring both you and your students to the next level as you learn the skills and techniques to get out of the way as a teacher and create a space for your students to discover their own path.

This module includes clearly distinguishing your own personal philosophy as a teacher, correctly demonstrating inversions and arm balances, hands on assisting in inversions and arm balances, how to effectively read the room, how to create a deeper spiritual context in class, the history of yoga, discovering your own obstacles that get in the way, incorporating the deeper components of a class (kriyas, chakras, pranayamas, chanting, etc), advanced meditation techniques, and a thorough examination of one's self awareness process.

These tools are essential for those who want to be "teachers", rather than well informed students who want to deepen their practice. One of the most powerful and transformational sections of the full training program, this module will create the space for you to examine and explore what your path is, and how you can offer the same space for your students.
