Building the Foundation of Your Craft

This first module of our Teacher Training program develops a strong foundation for teaching vinyasa yoga and is designed for aspiring teachers and practitioners interested in deepening their practice. Sound knowledge and teaching skills of the basic principles of alignment, breathing and asanas will allow you and your students to cultivate a richer practice on all levels.

This foundational module includes basic sequencing, correctly demonstrating asanas, hands on assisting in fluid vinyasa, effective verbalizing skills and pacing and how to correctly teach ujjayi breathing and guide a short meditation. By learning to teach with more self-awareness, knowledge, authenticity and confidence, you will better address the needs of your students and stand out in an ever-expanding community of yoga teachers. Our program brings together essential teaching techniques to illicit and help you step into your own greatness while learning to support others to step into theirs.
