STUDIO POLICIES
 

YOGA CLASS PASS POLICIES

  • Class Pass Roll-Over: If a class pass expires before all the classes are used up, a student can roll them over to the next class pass purchase that is equal to or greater than the number of classes that expired.  The original class pass can only be rolled over once, not multiple times in a row.

  • All passes have an expiration date and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Only the 20 class pass may be shared.

  • $10 Yoga Classes

    • Classes purchased are valid only for 7 days from date of purchase.
    • $10 yoga class purchases that expire are not valid for extension, roll-over, or refund. Please purchase mindfully.
    • Please make sure the $10 class you are purchasing is for the correct studio location. Passes are not transferable from one studio location to another.
    • Not eligible for non-profit/student discount
    • $10 yoga class purchases are not eligible as credit to be applied to a regularly priced class, intro pass, class package, or OM Pass
    • $10 yoga class purchases are only valid for classes listed online as $10



  • 5 & 10 class passes (at regular rate) are valid three (3) months from date of first use; 20 class pass (at regular rate) is valid for four (4) months from date of first use.

  • Introductory and Newcomer Specials are available one time only and only on first visit.

  • If a student registers in advance for class but does not attend and inform the studio 3 hours prior to the class start time, the class will be deducted from the studetnt's class pass.  Only email notices to yoga@thestudiodc.com to cancel will be accepted.

  • No refunds or credit for expired passes or classes.

  • All sales are final.

  • Payment is due before participating in class.

  • Unpaid yoga classes, after two (2) days from day of unpaid visit, will be reconciled automatically from the credit or debit card stored on file at the rate of $17 per class.   An electronic receipt will be sent to the email address on file.

  • In an effort to remain fair to all students practicing at our studio, we cannot grant exceptions.

 


 

OM PASS POLICIES

(1) The Studio DC's OM Pass is a five (5) month commitment, after which your membership will continue to automatically renew on a month-to-month basis until member decides to cancel.


(2) Students may freeze their yoga pass for one (1) month out of every year, or for 2 weeks twice a year, the first time being six (6) months after membership commencement date. No other amount of time periods will be allowed.  During this time a student will not be able to attend classes without payment.  Please note that freezes are not available during the final month of a members OM Pass.Requests to freeze a membership will only be accepted if received by email to yoga@thestudiodc.com

(3) For cancellation: the member must notify The Studio DC at least 30 days prior to next auto draft (billing date) in writing or via email to yoga@thestudiodc.com . We do not accept phone, verbal, or voice mail cancellations. Om Pass memberships cancellations will only be valid after Studio DC staff responding from yoga@thestudiodc.com confirm your request.  If you do not hear back from The Studio DC within 3 business days, it means your request was not recieved or was sent to an incorrect email address and you will be required to resend.  Two week and one month freezes that occur during the time period of your minimum monthly commitment will not count towards the fulfillment of the minimum number of months required for your OM Pass membership.  Cancellations can only be processed after they have been sent to yoga@thestudiodc.com

(4) If a member terminates an OM Pass contract for any reason before the end of the minimum number of months of membership agreement, the member agrees to pay an early cancellation fee equivalent to one month of unlimited yoga ($140) and authorizes The Studio DC to charge the member's credit/debit card on file.

(5) To receive the full-time college student rate, a person must be attending a local college within the greater Washington DC metro area for a minimum of 12 credits per semester (graduate students also accepted). Students are required to bring in a copy of their unofficial transcript or formal enrollment for classes being taken each semester.To receive the full-time non-profit employee rate, a person must bring in written proof on company letterhead showing proof of employment.  Rates will only be applied after all required documentation has been properly turned in to an official staff member of The Studio DC. Students have one week from original commencement date of contract to turn in all required documentation, failure to do so will result in the student rate being dropped, and the adult rate will take into effect for the duration of the contract.

**Grad students are also eligible.

(6) Months in which a member does not attend any class at either studio will not be refunded under any circumstances.


(7) All OM Pass rates and fees are final upon commencement and agreement of OM Pass membership. 

 


 

WORKSHOP POLICIES

  • Pre-payment in full is required at time of registration.

  • Internal Workshops:
    • Credit only will be given for cancellations seven (7) days prior to a workshop if it is lead by a regular studio instructor. Credit can only be used for other internal workshops.

    • Refunds only will be given for cancellations fourteen (14) days prior to a workshop if it is lead by a regular studio instructor.

    • Cancellations received 2 days prior to the date of the scheduled workshop is no longer eligible for refund or credit.

    • Cancellations must be sent by email to yoga@thestudiodc.com to be considered valid.  No verbal or voice mail cancellations will be accepted.

  • Visiting Master Teacher Workshops:
    • All sales are final and a refund minus processing fees will only be issued if the workshop is sold out and another participant is able to fill the spot.

  • If the studio cancels a workshop, a full credit or refund will be issued within 72 hours.

  • Cancellations must be sent by email to yoga@thestudiodc.com to be considered valid.  No verbal or voice mail cancellations will be accepted.

  • The Studio DC reserves the right to amend this policy at its sole discretion.

  • Prices subject to change.


 

TEACHER TRAINING POLICIES

  • All sales are final. Tuition is non-refundable if participant drops out for any reason.

  • Deposits will be refunded in full only if the applicant is not accepted.

  • Make up sessions for missed training hours will be an additional cost to the participant.

  • All participants have up to 2 years to complete the full training program.

  • Master class workshops are not part of the teacher training tuition.

  • In the event the studio must remove a participant from the program, the participants tuition due will be based on the amount of training completed.

  • The studio reserves the right to terminate any participants enrollment in the teacher training program for any reason.

  • All participants agree to all fees associated with the training program.

 

 


 

PRIVATE CLASS POLICY

  • Pre-payment at time of booking is required.

  • Cancellations more than 24 hours prior to scheduled session will receive credit for a private class to be rescheduled with the instructor.

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled session will be charged in full.
